Erica Dasher is originally from Houston, Texas. She is a St. Marks Champion, NSDA finalist and runner-up and Harvard National Champion. Now, Erica is an actor and director currently living in Los Angeles. Shortly after graduating from the University of Southern California, she was cast as the titular role in ABC Family’s cult hit, Jane By Design. The series filmed in L.A, New York, Paris and London. She’s continued work as an actor (NCIS, Dating Daisy) and a leading role in the Hulu series, Guidance. She has directed music videos and commercials for the likes of Pia Mia, Rainey Qually, Guess Perfume and Billboard music. Yet, forensics has remained a large part of her life. In New York, Erica works with Stuyvesant High School’s Speech and Debate program and also created a film (perhaps the dearest to her heart to date) called ‘FIGURES OF SPEECH’. The movie is a feature-length documentary she produced with partner, Sami Kriegstein, about the wonderful world of speech. It is narrated by Chris Pine (Wonder Woman, Star Trek) and streaming on Netflix now.
