MIKE S.: BIO

Michael Storr comes to Fluency after having served on the forensic coaching staff at Ball State University (Indiana) for the past five years. In 2019, Ball State placed 1st and 4th at collegiate national tournaments. Michael coached students into final rounds of Duo, Prose, POI, DI, and POE. In fact, during 2019 his students won the national title in DUO, DI, and Prose. Throughout his coaching career Michael has worked with several top college programs as well as high school programs such as James Logan HS and Leland HS. Michael also coached high school camps for ten years including The University of Texas – Austin, Illinois State University, Bradley University, as well as James Logan High School (California), a consecutive twenty year recipient of the NSDA’s “School of Outstanding Distinction” award. As a collegiate competitor himself, Michael was a finalist in Prose Interpretation and Dramatic Duo.
