SHANE: BIO

Shane Zeigler is an actor residing in Los Angeles, California.  Though he got into forensics late in high school (near the end of his junior year), he hit the ground running. His senior year he finaled or came in first in various national circuit tournaments in both DI and Duo (St Marks, Glenbrooks, Harvard, Emory and ASU) and was the 2005 New Mexico State Champion that year in both DI and Duo. The year culminated in Shane becoming a finalist in Dramatic Interp at the 2005 National Championship in Philadelphia.  From there he went on to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he got a bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts and Mathematics. During his time in school he started the interp program at East Chapel Hill High School working with then head coach, Jonathan Peele (current head coach of Charlotte Latin School in Charlotte, NC). He also worked as an interp coach and program facilitator for FFI (Florida Forensics Institute) for three years in a row.  He was hired by Tommie Lindsey (former head coach of James Logan High School) and coached his students for 3 years both during the summer and throughout the year. Shane’s combined experiences in Forensics, Theater, and Film/TV give him a unique coaching eye beneficial for any motivated interper.
