ADAM: BIO

Adam Benoit is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. Adam has been involved in the speech and debate community for the past 15 years. He attended Teurlings Catholic High School and competed in numerous debate, acting, and speaking events. Adam is a National Runner-Up in Duo Interpretation at the N.C.F.L. national tournament and a Louisiana State Champion in Duet Acting. He has also been in multiple out rounds at the N.F.L. national and the Louisiana State tournaments. He also had a successful college career as a University of Louisiana at Lafayette competitor. Upon earning his B.A. in English, Mr. Benoit took his passion for communication to the classroom. He was the former Director of Speech and Debate at Langham Creek High School for 5 years. While coaching there he had students in final rounds at the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions and students that qualified for the N.S.D.A. Adam loves all acting events especially team events. He also loves coaching Oratory and Public Forum Debate.  He is currently teaching 6th grade English at Anthony Middle School and pursuing his Masters Degree in Library Science.
